AI Prompt-a-thon: Prompting with Purpose — Strategy, Ethics, and Efficiency

Generative AI is reshaping legal workflows, but only when used with skill, strategy, and ethical awareness. This interactive session teaches participants how to structure prompts for real legal work, from clause revision to memo drafting, while avoiding pitfalls like hallucinations, bias, and confidentiality breaches. You’ll walk away with a stronger command of AI tools, and the judgment to use them well.

In this competition, law and business students from across the region will compete in a multi-round, simulation-based tournament judged by experienced practitioners. Attendees from the Friday event are invited to observe the competition and meet tomorrow’s rising talent.  

Free for University of Miami teams 

Each team must consist of 2-4 students, with at least one law student required. Coaches are encouraged to participate.

$100 for 2-person teams / $200 for 4-person teams.

Only 12 team slots available, registration closes August 20th at 11:59 PM EST (or when full).
