LawWithoutWalls (LWOW) is a global experiential learning initiative that unites legal and business professionals with students from over 30 law and business schools to develop innovative solutions at the intersection of law, business, and tech. LWOW fosters cross-generational, cultural, and disciplinary collaboration while building essential professional skills and is the only initiative of its kind that brings together diverse minds from all over the world—across generations, cultures, and professions— to shift mindsets and build future-ready skills.
The in-person Sprint is where it all comes to life—an immersive, fast-paced challenge where teams race to develop solutions to real problems and level up how they think, lead, and collaborate.

LWOW equips students with essential skills for legal service providers, including leadership, communication, project management, innovation, cultural competency, technology, problem-finding, and problem-solving skills. It prepares students to engage effectively with clients and today's legal market.
LWOW is team-based, bringing together law and business professionals with students globally to solve real-world problems. Participants not only develop innovation skills but also reshape relationships with colleagues and clients, fostering community and cultural change.
At LWOW Sprint, teams use the 3-4-5 Method of Innovation™ to create practical solutions, known as "Projects of Worth," to tackle real business-of-law challenges presented by legal departments, law firms, and professional service providers.
LawWithoutWalls Sprint is an agile, 3-day innovation, collaboration & transformation experience where participants learn and apply design thinking principles to co-create Projects of Worth; the foundations of viable solutions solving for urgent business-of-law challenges.
LWOW Sprint 2027 will take place March 5-7 in Glasgow, Scotland, hosted by the University of Strathclyde Law School. Students arrive on March 4 and depart on March 8, 2027.
Accepted students must complete interactive pre-Sprint training (held online) in the 7 weeks leading up to Sprint. Participation is mandatory. Visit the LWOW website for more programming information.
