Professor Bernard Oxman Gives Talk at Miami International Arbitration Society


Professor Bernard Oxman, the Richard A. Hausler Professor of Law, recently presented a talk “The Recalcitrant Party in International Arbitration: Recent Cases Involving a Party's Refusal to Participate in the Proceedings" at the Miami International Arbitration Society’s membership meeting.  Professor Oxman teaches conflict of laws, international law, law of the sea, and torts.  He is the Faculty Chair of Miami Law’s LL.M. in Maritime Law.  Professor Oxman is the only American lawyer appointed to serve as judge ad hoc on the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea and the International Court of Justice.
