The Honorable Kelly is an Administrative Judge in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida in the County Domestic Violence Division. Gonzalez, a specialist in civil trial law (personal injury and wrongful death) and business litigation, is a partner with the Coral Gables law firm Colson Hicks Eidson. With more than 30 years of experience in civil and business litigation, Gonzalez has obtained 32 verdicts of more than a million dollars. He was named Florida's "Litigator of the Year" in 2012.  He is currently an adjunct faculty member in the Litigation Skills Program at Miami Law.

Moskowitz, who runs the Class Action Practice at Kozyak Tropin Throckmorton, LLP, is a strong supporter of Miami Law. In addition to teaching a class action litigation seminar, he has helped to plan the first annual University of Miami Class Action & Complex Litigation Forum, which is slated to take place in December.

“I cannot thank the alumni association enough for this recognition,” Moskowitz said. “I am honored that this year will mark my 20th year teaching the class action litigation seminar at UM, which has certainly been one of my most memorable professional experiences.”

Hernandez is President of the Cuban American Bar Association and a partner in Holland & Knight's Miami office and a member of the firm's South Florida Litigation Team. She focuses her practice on complex real estate and commercial litigation matters.

Ocariz is President of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, Miami-Dade Chapter.  She is a partner at Shook Hardy & Bacon's Miami office, where she focuses her practice on product liability and commercial litigation. The Law Alumni Achievement Award recognizes alumni nationally who have excelled in their chosen profession and in service to Miami Law. The Law Alumni Leadership Award recognizes excellence, specifically in the area of leadership. The award often recognizes Bar leaders or directors and presidents of service organizations.
