Jonathan Zwibel is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, a native Miamian, and a lifelong Canes fan. He proudly returns to Miami Law to join the Adjunct Faculty. He serves as Deputy Associate Chief Counsel for U.S. Customs and Border Protection. His legal expertise includes the application of customs laws at the U.S. border and ports of entry. He has a particular passion for the legal protection of cultural patrimony and the laws preventing the international trafficking and looting of cultural property and antiquities. At Miami Law, he teaches Cultural Property and Antiquities Trafficking: Importation Laws and Border Enforcement.
At Miami Law, Mr. Zwibel was an Articles and Comments Editor on the Business Law Review. He obtained his undergraduate degree in International Relations at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government Senior Executive Fellows Program, and the American University Key Executive Leadership Program.
