Janet S. Seitlin is certified as a Circuit Civil, County and Family mediator by the Supreme Court of Florida and she is certified as a Victim Offender Mediator by the State of Florida. She is an attorney in Miami with Salmon & Dulberg, a firm which specializes in dispute resolution, mediation and arbitration. Previously, she served as a staff attorney at Legal Services of Greater Miami as well as Chief Counsel of the Haitian Refugee Project in America, Interim Director of the City of Miami Commission on the Status of Women, and faculty member at the U.S. Department of Justice Alternative Dispute Resolution Program. Seitlin earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami in 1979. She also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from UM. Seitlin teaches Mediation, a course designed to teach students the principles of conflict, its underlying causes and how to deal with it through negotiation.
