Ines Bahachille is Chief Counsel for Mondelēz International, a global snacks and food brands Multinational Company created after the October 2012 spin-off of Kraft -foods products. The company has an annual revenue of about $26 billion and operates in approximately 160 countries. Bahachille is responsible for all the Latin American markets and some business units within the U.S. market and Global function. She oversees a team of around 40 people across different countries, including regulatory matters, corporate governance, compliance, trademarks, patents, global legal services, business integrity and corporate security.
Bahachille previously was General Counsel for Latin America and Miami Exports at Ingram Micro, the world largest IT wholesaler and service provider from March 2017 to June 2019. Before that, she worked for Diageo, the world largest spirits company, from 2008 to 2017 as Vice-president GC for Latin America and USA Free Trade Zones. She also worked in the past for Arthur Andersen, Sullivan and Cromwell New York, Sun Microsystems and Terra (Grupo Telefonica).
Bahachille graduated cum laude, first in her class, at Universidad Catolica in Venezuela. She is admitted to both the NY Bar and the Florida Bar. She was a Fulbright Scholar and law teacher for twelve years at Universidad Católica. She is married and is mother of two daughters.
