Daniel Novela has over 20 years of legal experience in the areas of Corporate, Family Office, Securities, Commercial Finance, and representing high-net-worth individuals and families from around the globe (including offshore corporations, offshore trusts and acquisitions and registration of aircraft, yachts, businesses and real estate).

Novela Law was founded in 2002. Before founding Novela Law, Mr. Novela practiced law at some of the nation’s premier law firms including Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy and Steel, Hector & Davis (now part of Squire Patton Boggs). Novela has been recognized in numerous publications for his work in corporate and international corporate law including the American Lawyer, the Daily Business Review, Haute Living, Miami magazine, SocialMiami.com, and the South Florida Business Journal.

Novela has served on the International Business Committee, the Aviation Committee and the Fashion & Lifestyle Committee of The Beacon Council, which is a government agency tasked with bringing and encouraging businesses to relocate to Miami. Novela previously served on the Compliance Committee of the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce.

Novela is also a strong supporter of the arts and has a unique collection of contemporary art. Novela served on the Board of the Miami Beach Cultural Arts Council (where he directed city funding for local cultural institutions) and was a founding member of the Perez Art Museum Miami (f/k/a Miami Art Museum, PAMM) Young Collectors Council. Novela Co-Chaired the 2012 PAMM Gala during Art Basel Miami and Co-Chaired the 2013 and 2014 PAMM Corporate Luncheon. Novela is also a contributor to Haute Time magazine and is considered an expert on contemporary and vintage watches.
