Professor Daniel E. González is a partner at Hogan Lovells and the Global Head of the firm's international arbitration practice. He dedicates his full-time practice to international commercial litigation and arbitration, and has a broad background in finance, accounting, and securities that clients depend on to handle complex commercial, construction, telecommunications, and other infrastructure development disputes in the United States, Latin America, and Europe.

In 2010, Latin Business Chronicle named him one of the top thirty lawyers working in Latin America and The Miami Herald previously named him one of the top five arbitration lawyers in South Florida, which is the fastest growing situs. As lead trial and arbitral counsel in multijurisdictional disputes, he has tried cases around the world, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, El Salvador, Geneva, London, and Venezuela. His clients include U.S. multinational corporations that conduct business in Latin America or Europe, and non-U.S. corporations doing business in the United States and abroad. Professor González is also often asked to serve as an arbitrator or international mediator in complex commercial disputes.

Professor González teaches Forensics of Advocacy in International Arbitration, a two-semester simulation of arbitral proceedings, which is offered in the White & Case International Arbitration LL.M. Program.
