Welcome from the Assistant Dean for International and Graduate Programs

Carmen Perez-LlorcaWelcome! The University of Miami School of Law is strongly committed to its international programs and welcomes applicants from around the world to join our legal community.

Our program includes about 60 students from 20 or more different countries around the globe. The University of Miami School of Law has graduated over 23,000 alumni who are living and working in more than 91 countries around the world

Because LL.M. programs at UM are relatively small and selective, we are able to provide a tailor-made program that focuses on the individual student, where the student creates a course of study that matches his or her own academic and professional goals. The students all graduate with an excellent foundation in the law and a broader perspective about the world in which we live.

Students choose Miami for a variety of reasons, either for its location as the gateway between the United States, Latin America, Europe, and Asia, the faculty with focus in international law, our renowned library, or the individual attention provided by our office.

We are committed to assisting all prospective students with their inquiries and the application process.

If you have any questions, please request information or e-mail intl-llm@law.miami.edu.

We love having visitors. So if you plan to be in Miami, please let us know.

We look forward to meeting you soon,

Carmen Perez-Llorca, Esq.
