Patricia Brown - Director, Graduate LL.M. Program in Taxation and in Taxation of Cross-Border Investment
Patricia Brown is an internationally-recognized expert in the field of international taxation, with specialties in tax treaty policy and the international taxation of financial products and institutions. Professor Brown will be available to discuss the latest developments in our LL.M. in Taxation including our LL.M. in Taxation of Cross-Border Investment.
Greg Levy - Director, Graduate LL.M. Program in Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law
Greg Levy is the Assistant Dean, Academic Affairs, Registration, and Student Services and Director of Miami Law’s Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law LL.M. Program. Greg Levy will be available to discuss the latest developments in our LL.M. in Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law.
Sandra Friedrich - Director, White & Case International Arbitration LL.M. Program; Director, International Arbitration Institute
Before joining Miami Law Sandra Friedrich practiced law at Latham & Watkins in New York, focusing on complex commercial and investment arbitration proceedings as well as related litigation. Prior to this Professor Friedrich taught courses on International Business Transactions, European Union Law and German Law at the University of Miami School of Law. She will be available to discuss the latest developments in the LL.M. program.
Raquel Matas - Acting Director, Robert Traurig-Greenberg Traurig LL.M. in Real Property Development
Raquel M. Matas is the Associate Dean for Administration and Lecturer in Law. Previously, she was a partner in the law firms of Ferrell Worldwide and Carlton Fields, where she practiced commercial real estate law and business transactions. She will be available to discuss the latest developments in the LL.M. program.
Carmen Perez-Llorca - Assistant Dean for International and Graduate Programs; Director, International Graduate Law Programs (U.S. & Transnational Law for Foreign-Trained Lawyers, International Law LL.M., Maritime Law LL.M., and Intensive Legal English + LL.M.)
Carmen Perez-Llorca has had a long career in public service, both as an elected representative in the Madrid parliament and as the undersecretary of education in the Madrid regional government. She obtained her LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania and practiced law in the U.S. at Dewey Ballantine, Kennedy Covington and in Spain at Allen & Overy. She will be available to discuss the latest developments in the LL.M. programs.
Tina Portuondo - Director, Heckerling Graduate Program in Estate Planning; Director, Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning
Tina Portuondo is also Director of Miami Law’s Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning, the immediate past chair of the ABA's Section of Real Property, Trust, and Estate Law (RPTE), and a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). She will be available to discuss our LL.M. in Estate Planning.
