Career Outcomes - Tax LL.M.

student with law book

Because tax touches everything, graduates of the Tax LL.M. program pursue opportunities in many different types of tax in different kinds of settings.  Many of our graduates focus on international tax planning, both inbound and outbound, for corporations or high net worth individuals. Others do domestic mergers and acquisitions for one of the Big Four accounting firms. A significant number choose to wrestle with the “Wild West” of state and local taxation.  A smaller group of graduates does controversy work in either the private sector or government.

Stand Out with a Tax LL.M.

A Miami Law Taxation LL.M. allows a candidate to stand out in the tax practice arena. Firms are confident in the rigor of the tax program and know that a Miami Law LL.M. graduate brings a breadth of knowledge and experience to their team. Big law firms expect to see candidates with strong credentials from their J.D. and Tax LL.M. programs.
