English Proficiency
For foreign-trained attorneys, LL.M. applicants whose native language is not English must submit results of an English Language Proficiency test and the TOEFL and the IELTS are accepted.  For admission, the required TOEFL score is 92 internet-based, or an IELTS score of 7.0. An applicant may apply for their LL.M. program of choice even without the required score, but he or she will not be granted admission until Miami Law receives documentation the score has been achieved. Depending upon one's score, Miami Law may require or recommend enrolling in our Intensive Legal English + LL.M.
