Empowering the Brightest Minds to Serve the Greater Good

The HOPE Public Interest Resource Center has been dedicated to engaging and inspiring the next generation of lawyers to embrace the importance of public interest and pro bono advocacy. Our Miami Scholars, Fellows, Public Interest Leadership Board, volunteers, and friends of HOPE have paved the way for meaningful service and impact for 25 years!

Scholarships & Fellowships

Scholarships & fellowships designed to attract the brightest students serve as catalysts for developing exceptional talent within the legal field. Further, they enable Miami Law to identify and recruit the most promising individuals who demonstrate outstanding intellectual aptitude, leadership potential, and a strong commitment to justice.

These students, chosen through a rigorous selection process, will bring diverse perspectives, exceptional achievements, and unwavering dedication to their legal education. By providing them with financial assistance -- whether that be a scholarship through the Miami Scholars program, or support for their summer dream job through the HOPE Summer Fellowship programs - we remove the barriers that may hinder students’ ability to pursue legal studies and unlock their full potential as they embark on their educational journey

HOPE Public Interest Fellowships

HOPE grants stipends and provides training to dedicated law students who spend a summer serving marginalized populations through unpaid internships at non-profit and governmental organizations in the Miami area through the Summer Public Interest Fellows (SPIF) program and nationally and internationally through the HOPE Fellows program. Meet Our Current Fellows

Miami Scholars

Since its inception in 1997, bringing outstanding students with a passion for public service to the University of Miami School of Law has been the goal of the Miami Scholars Public Interest Program. Incoming students with exceptional academic and public interest achievements have the opportunity to be selected for this prestigious scholarship cohort program. Meet Our Current Scholars

Your support helps ensure that HOPE continues to serve current and future generations of students and communities.
