Professor Leigh Osofsky recently presented her new paper, “Regulating by Example” (co-authored with Susie Morse from University of Texas School of Law) at Duke and Georgetown Law Schools. The paper examines the phenomenon of using examples in regulations, which is common in tax regulations, but spans all kinds of agency regulations. The article is forthcoming in the Yale Journal on Regulation. The article continues her research regarding the administration of the tax law. Professor Osofsky teaches courses addressing various aspects of taxation and policy.
