Professor Donna Coker Gives Talks and Webinar on Domestic Violence and Campus Sexual Assault


Professor Donna Coker recently gave a public lecture at the invitation of the Initiative to End Family Violence at the University of California School of Law, Irvine titled “Crime Logic, Campus Sexual Assault, and Restorative Justice.”  She also spoke on “Why Hyper-Incarceration is a Central Issue for the Anti-Domestic Violence Movement” as part of a symposium titled “Evolution of a Movement Symposium - Healing solutions for our communities: Speaking Truth to Action & Community-Based Strategies to Violence Prevention and Intervention.” Additionally, Professor Coker presented the second webinar in a series for national leaders sponsored by the Battered Women's Justice Project on “Why Opposing Hyper-Incarceration Should be Central to the Work of the Anti-Domestic Violence Movement.” Professor Coker has taught criminal law, evidence, domestic violence, family law, wrongful convictions and other advanced criminal justices courses.
