Lecturers in Law Jan Jacobowitz and Scott Rogers Participate in Mindful Ethics Panel


Lecturers in Law Jan L. Jacobowitz and Scott Rogers participated on the panel, "Through the Looking Glass: Mindful Ethics as a Transformative Tool for Legal Professionals" at the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers Annual Meeting in San Francisco. Jacobowitz is the director of the Professional Responsibility & Ethics Program, which is a 2012 ABA Gambrell Award recipient. She recently authored "The Benefits of Mindfulness for Litigators" in Litigation Magazine and a chapter on Professionalism and Mindfulness for the recently released ABA book, The Essential Qualities of a Professional Lawyer. Rogers is founder and director of the Mindfulness in Law Program where he teaches three classes that integrate mindfulness into the law school curriculum and offers students and the law school community a series of mindfulness related programs and workshops. Rogers is author of several mindfulness books including Mindfulness for Law Students, The Six-Minute Solution: A Mindfulness Primer for Lawyers, and Mindful Parenting.
