Professor Osamudia James's Articles Accepted for Publication

Two of Professor Osamudia James's articles have been accepted for publication. "White Like Me: The Negative Impact of the Diversity Rationale on White Identity Formation," will be published in the New York University Law Review and explores the ways in which stunted deployment of the diversity rationale in higher education negatively impacts white racial identity formation. "Opt-Out Education: School Choice as Racial Subordination," to be published in the Iowa Law Review, considers how school choice rhetoric advances values that are incompatible with successful public school education, while masking limited actual choice for minority students and their families. Professor James researches and teaches in the areas of education, race and the law, administrative law, and torts.
