Douglas K. Bischoff has more than 30 years of legal experience in the real estate field. He was Senior Vice President and General Counsel of The Related Group and also served as head of the real estate departments in the Miami offices of Holland & Knight and Morgan, Lewis, & Brockius, LLP. He will be available to discuss our Robert Traurig-Greenberg Traurig LL.M. in Real Property Development.

Patricia Brown is an internationally-recognized expert in the field of international taxation, with specialties in tax treaty policy and the international taxation of financial products and institutions. Professor Brown will be available to discuss the latest developments our LL.M. in Taxation including our new LLM in Taxation of Cross-Border Investment
Jessica Carvalho Morris
Director, International Graduate Law Programs
Jessica Carvalho Morris teaches in the areas of international human rights and constitutional law and publishes and lectures on international human rights and aspects of Brazilian and American constitutional law. She will be available to discuss our LL.M. offerings in Inter-American Law, International Law, International Arbitration, Ocean and Coastal Law, and Translational Law for Foreign Lawyers.
Director, Graduate LLM Program in Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law
Harold A. Flegelman has joined Miami Law from the Los Angeles office of Loeb & Loeb LLP, where he was a partner in the Corporate Department and Co-Chair of the Corporate Media and Entertainment Practice Group. Professor Flegelman will be available to discuss our new LL.M. in Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law.
Director of the International Arbitration Institute
Marike Paulsson is a former counsel at Hanotiau & van den Berg in Brussels, Belgium a boutique law firm focused on commercial arbitration and litigation. Previously she practiced at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Allen & Overy in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She has authored numerous publications on international arbitration and the 1958 New York Convention. She will be available to discuss our LL.M. in International Arbitration.
Director of the Heckerling Graduate Program in Estate Planning
Tina Portuondo is also Director of Miami Law’s Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning and is the immediate past chair of the ABA's Section of Real Property, Trust, and Estate Law (RPTE), and a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). She will be available to discuss our LL.M. in Estate Planning.
