A panel of business executives and attorneys, including Miami Law alumni, shared best practices for exceeding client expectations and cultivating long-term client relationships. Moderated by Professors Annette Torres and Cheryl Zuckerman as part of their Effective Client Communications course, the panelists—Professor Terri Doud, Erin Goldstein, Brian Heller, Brad Meltzer, and Jeffrey Weissman—advised students to be responsive, become trusted advisors, and zealously pursue their clients’ objectives.

As part of the upper-level course "Effective Client Communications," a panel of prominent attorneys and Miami Law alumni offered invaluable advice to prepare our students to cultivate successful client relationships. Moderated by course professors Cheryl Zuckerman and Annette Torres, the panel of local attorneys – Michael Budwick, John Kozyak, Michael Marsh, Katie Phang, Peter Russin, and Steve Zuckerman – counseled students to develop long-term client relationships by listening, taking initiative, and pursuing their passions.
