How to Become Involved
The Res Ipsa Loquitur is open to anyone involved with the law school. General meetings are held before every issue, where the state of the paper is discussed and the assignment of articles takes place. Currently, there are no dues, and staff members participate as much or as little as they are able.
Members of the administration, alumni and practicing lawyers are invited to submit articles that are uniquely relevant to students and faculty for our Beyond the Bar section.Lawyers should submit articles of advice and personal experiences directed toward students. Relevant student accomplishments and awards are also welcomed. Both are printed free of charge and should be sent fit for publication. Email resipsa@law.miami.edu for more information.
We are always looking for new writers and photographers. Layout experience is a plus. Please email resipsa@law.miami.edu to become involved.
Please understand that the editorial board reserves the right to edit or reject certain submissions. Rarely, submissions will be cut due to layout and space constraints.
