Women Call for Mentors
Miami Law Women is an organization for students with similar beliefs and goals for the advancement of women in the legal profession. In addition to our commitment to community service and social programming, our organization is devoted to networking within the community. With such a strong alumni base in South Miami, it would be a disservice not to reach out to you. Therefore, this year, our organization is launching the Female Mentoring Program. We hope to pair up participating law students with alumni who will then act as mentors to the student. Miami Law Women will organize a few social events for mentors and mentees; however, the participants are encouraged to communicate with each other individually. Students will select a few alumni who they would like to connect with and then we will complete the pairings so that no alumnus is overwhelmed with too many mentees. We are very excited about getting started with this endeavor and we look forward to a successful response, but for that, we need your help.
