Purpose

 

The purpose of the organization is to examine policy issues and career opportunities in environmental law and related areas, and to promote the environmental interests of the school and students at the University of Miami School of Law to the local and national community.

 

Tentative School Year 06-07 Activities

 

  • Environmentally-relevant film screenings
  • Panel discussions with professors and practitioners about current topics
  • Social events with other students and area alumni
  • Community service events including a “coastal cleanup”
  • Ongoing campus-based recycling activities
