
Employment, Labor & Immigration Law Certificate
The Employment, Labor and Immigration Law Certificate will offer students a well-rounded background in a growing and fast moving area of legal practice. Increasingly, individual contract issues overlap those of immigration and collective bargaining and are reflected in the representation of diverse clients and affiliations. Students who are planning to counsel large or small businesses, or serve as in-house counsel, as well as those who will work with unions or represent individual employees should consider this curriculum choice.
Interested students should contact Professor Kenneth Casebeer in their second semester of the first year if possible for advice on curriculum requirements and to notify the school of the intent to complete the certificate. Requirements are as follows:
