UM Law School Professor David Abraham will travel to Israel later in December to present two papers. On December 26th, 2007, Professor Abraham will present a paper entitled "Doing Justice on Two Fronts: The Liberal Dilemma in Immigration" to the Hebrew University Research Group on Immigration and Human Rights.


On December 30th, 2007, Professor Abraham will present a paper entitled "Hard on the Outside, Hard on the Inside, Too? The Friend/Enemy Distinction and Neo-Liberal Citizenship" at an international conference sponsored by the Marc Rich Foundation and The Minerva Center for Human Rights. The conference, which will be held at Tel Aviv University and is titled "Democratic Citizenship and War," will explore the theoretical and practical implications of war and terror situations for the institution of citizenship in democratic states.
