Lecturer in Law Jan L. Jacobowitz was recently a guest lecturer at the University of Colorado Law School. Professor Jacobowitz’s visit was sponsored by the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative at Colorado Law School. Her presentation was about  how mindfulness may foster ethical decision making in the practice of law. Jacobowitz also recently participated as a panelist in the ABA webinar entitled: Appellate Ethics Review: The Scope of the Record on Appeal and Responding to Media Inquiries About Your Appeal. Jacobowitz is the Director of the Professional Responsibility & Ethics Program. Under her direction, PREP was a 2012 recipient of the ABA’s E. Smythe Gambrell Award--- the leading national award for a professionalism program. She also teaches Mindful Ethics: Professional Responsibility for Lawyers in the Digital Age and Social Media and the Law.
