Professor Caroline Mala Corbin was invited to two law review symposia last semester. The first, hosted by the First Amendment Law Review, addressed the subject of "Justice Scalia and the First Amendment." The second, sponsored by The Ohio State Law Journal, focused on "The Expanding First Amendment." Professor Corbin was also among professors invited to Columbia Law School by the Public Rights/Private Conscience Project to discuss upcoming challenges to anti-discrimination and reproductive rights law. Finally, Professor Corbin presented her article on "Government Employee Religion" at the Faculty Workshop at University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Professor Corbin’s scholarship focuses on the First Amendment’s speech and religion clauses, particularly their intersection with equality issues.
