Sarah Mourer, Director of Miami Law's Death Penalty Clinic and Innocence Clinic and Craig Trocino, Associate Director of the Innocence Clinic, recently presented at the 2013 Annual Innocence Network Conference on "How to Prevent Student and Director Burnout in Innocence Projects." Professor Mourer teaches Substantive Criminal Law and is the faculty advisor for the University of Miami Wrongful Convictions Project. She also teaches in and directs the University of Miami Clinical Placement Program. Trocino is an experienced AV rated appellate litigator having been counsel of record on more than 200 direct appeals and extraordinary writs. He has served as the co-director of the Florida Innocence Project from 2002-2004 and has taught classes in post-conviction litigation and federal sentencing.
