Lecturers in Law Scott Rogers and Jan Jacobowitz's book,Mindfulness & Professional Responsibility: A Guidebook for Incorporating Mindfulness into the Law School Curriculum has been selected as recommended reading for the Mindfulness in Legal Education Workshop held at Berkeley Law School. Rogers, a nationally recognized expert in the area of mindfulness in law, is founder and director of Miami Law's Mindfulness in Law Program where he teaches a variety of classes that integrate mindfulness into the curriculum. Rogers is author of several mindfulness books including Mindfulness for Law Students and The Six-Minute Solution: A Mindfulness Primer for Lawyers. Jacobowitz is the director of the Professional Responsibility & Ethics Program, which is a 2012 ABA Gambrell Award recipient. She recently authored "The Benefits of Mindfulness for Litigators" in Litigation Magazine and a chapter on Professionalism and Mindfulness for the forthcoming ABA book, The Essential Qualities of a Professional Lawyer.
