Judge Juan Ramirez Jr., Chief Judge of the Third District Court of Appeal and adjunct professor at Miami Law, led the Oath of Admission to The Florida Bar at the Swearing in Ceremony held inside the Law Library Reading Room on Tuesday, April 12.
This year, a total of 86.8 percent of Miami Law graduates passed the Bar Exam administered in February – placing the law school seven percentage points above the Florida pass rate for first time test takers.
"It takes a lot of work to get into law school," said Dean Patricia D. White to an audience of family, friends and faculty. "It takes even more work to get though law school. And finally, being admitted to the Bar is a capstone on a major educational journey."
