UM Law alumna Dorian S. Denburg, a general counsel for AT&T, has been named the president-elect of The National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL), which has served as the voice of women lawyers for more than 100 years.

Denburg was elected to lead the organization at its annual meeting, held in New York in July. She has co-chaired NAWL’s scholarship committee and taken a role in the organization’s Taking Charge of Your Career programs, where she spearheaded panels on solidifying client relationships and becoming the “go-to” for in-house counsel.

The 1982 alumna said she is “honored to have been elected as president-elect and looks forward to helping to continue to further the goals and programs of this leading organization.”
