
Professor Abraham Speaks at Immigration Conferences in D.C. and Denmark This Fall
Professor David Abraham, a noted immigration law scholar, has accepted invitations to address audiences at two international immigration conferences this fall.
On September 10, Professor Abraham will lecture on “The Liberal Dilemma in Immigration” at an inter-disciplinary conference on “The Politics of Social Cohesion” being held at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, where he will join academics from schools including Queen’s University; the University of Copenhagen; the American University of Paris; Australian National University; the University of Bergen; the University of Southampton; the University of Aarhus; the University of Oxford; and the University of Maryland.
In October, Abraham will participate in a conference titled “Fixing a Broken Immigration System: Historical and Contemporary International Perspectives,” which is being hosted by the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, D.C. The event will be held on October 22-23. Professors from Georgetown, New York, Vanderbuilt, California, Fordham, Southern California, and Brown universities will join Professor Abraham at the conference, where he will speak on “Immigrant Incorporation Strategies in Israel, Germany, and the U.S.” on October 23.
