The University of Miami School of Law mourns the passing of Esther C. Atkins, a lifelong social activist and the wife of the late federal judge C. Clyde Atkins. She passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2009. Atkins and her late husband established a fund at the Law School to support the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board. In 1997, the C. Clyde Atkins Moot Court Series was endowed at the Law School.
