
UM Law Professor Susan Haack speaks in Italy, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland over Spring Break

Over the Spring Break recess, UM Law Professor Susan Haack will travel to Italy, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, presenting lectures at three European universities.
On March 13, Professor Haack will be in Florence, Italy, presenting a lecture titled “Popper on Trial: A Brief History of a Big Muddle” at the European University Institute’s “On Objective Knowledge in the Social Sciences and Humanities: Karl Popper and beyond” conference.
From March 16-18, Professor Haack will speak at the University of Kent in the United Kingdom, presenting lectures to the school’s law and philosophy departments.
Professor Haack’s weeklong speaking tour will wrap up on March 20 when she goes to the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research in Basel, Switzerland to discuss “Science, Religion, and Law.”
