UM Law alumna Abigail E. Cynamon, JD ’89, LL.M. ’96, has been appointed to the Miami-Dade Juvenile Court. Judge Cynamon was previously an attorney with the Law Offices of Jeff P. Cynamon, a staff attorney and senior assistant general counsel for the 11th Judicial Circuit, and a solo practitioner.

Judge Cynamon spent a portion of her childhood in foster care. She went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree from Barnard College at Columbia University and her law degrees from the University of Miami School of Law.
