OCEAN & COASTAL LAW LL.M.
The Ocean and Coastal Law program prepares the attorney to be a specialist in the domestic and international legal problems associated with the use and protection of the marine environment. The University of Miami School of Law is an ideal place to study Ocean and Coastal Law. Professor Bernard H. Oxman is the chair of the LL.M. program in Ocean and Coastal Law, as well as Co-Editor in Chief of the American Journal of International Law. He has been an assistant legal adviser for Oceans, Environment, and Scientific Affairs in the U.S. Department of State, and was Vice-Chairman of the U.S. delegation to the Third United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. He is widely recognized as a leading authority on the Law of the Sea and other international law topics. This program is generally for U.S. law graduates.
