Funding Your Studies
The Law School is committed to helping qualified graduate students obtain the necessary financial aid to complete their legal education. Financial aid application materials may be obtained by writing to the Office of Financial Aid, University of Miami School of Law, P.O. Scholarships are available for a limited number of qualified LL.M. applicants. Fellowships are awarded on the basis of need and merit. Include the Scholarship Form with your application to ensure scholarship consideration.
Dean's Merit Scholarships
The School of Law awards partial scholarships equivalent to approximately one-quarter of tuition costs each year to entering students with excellent academic records and other outstanding qualifications for the graduate study of law.
Application Process for Law School Scholarships
To request a scholarship from the School of Law, please complete a Scholarship Request Form and submit it with your application to the applicable LL.M. Program. A short letter describing your need and interest may also be included with your application for admission in lieu of the form. The scholarship committee generally meets in April of each year to begin awarding scholarships for the following fall semester. We encourage you to apply before this date if you wish to be considered for scholarship assistance.
