Welcome to our web site! Here you will find information about our LL.M. in U.S. and Transnational Law for Foreign Lawyers program.
The University of Miami School of Law was founded in 1926 and is one of the nations leading institutions of legal education.
The Master in U.S. and Transnational Law for Foreign Lawyers (formerly the LL.M. in Comparative Law) was first offered in 1959 and has since generated over thousand alumni from more than ninety countries. The program was founded by Professor Rafael C. Benitez (1918 -1999), a renowned expert in international law. The LL.M. in U.S. and Transnational Law draws foreign lawyers from around the world; as students they not only gain exposure to the American legal system, but also enrich the classes they take alongside our JD students.
In addition to the law school’s strong historical background, there are many good reasons to consider an LL.M. in U.S. and Transnational Law for Foreign Lawyers at the University of Miami!
