Procedure
The following replaces the recording and reporting time sections of previously published procedures which have been updated to reflect these changes.
1. Please use the work sheets placed in your work study folders to record your work. You should update the work sheet each time you work.
2. You do not need to email me with details of the work you do if it is regularly recorded in the sheet.
3 Please follow the indicated format, line spacing and level of detail in work description. See Sample sheet for details.
4. Pay attention to the notes sections. Please record any issues, time delays, productivity problems in the format shown. As indicated, you should also email me regarding the issue. Please email me regarding anticipated absences or other work short falls as soon as possible. Unless I am told otherwise, I assume you are working your scheduled number of hours.
5. When the pay period is over and you have finalized your time sheet, type in the total hours and other information as shown in the sample. Notice that the sample work sheet is due before the work week ends. Use this format when estimating times in these situations. (If the subsequent actual work times and content do not correspond to those you estimated, please send me an email explaining the discrepancy. Adjustments will be made in the next pay period).
6. Send me an email stating that your time is finalized by the scheduled time. Include the number of hours worked in the pay period in the text of the email.
Failure to record the information as described, send the email or finalize the time sheet as noted, and when due, will delay submission of your time for the pay period.
