FIRST AMENDMENT TO COOPERATIVE LICENSE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN FLORIDA FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT
AND
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

I, W. TURNER WALLIS, Secretary of the governing Board of Central and Southern Florida Flood Control District, do herby certify that the following is a true and correct copy of that part of the minutes of the meeting of the Governing Board of Central and Southern Florida Flood Control District held February 14, 1953, showing in full the action there taken by the Governing Board on the subject matter of the minutes here quoted:
"The Engineering and Legal Departments brought to the Board's attention that there now exists a cooperative and license agreement executed on November 20, 1950 by the district and on June 8, 1951 by the United States of America for the operation by the Fish and Wildlife Service of the Department of the interior of Conservation Area Number 1, as a wildlife management area and that Conservation Areas 2 and 3 and under a somewhat similar license agreement dated January 16, 1052 with the Game Fresh Water Fish Commission of the State of Florida. It was stated that in order to clarify the common boundary line in said agreements between Conservation Areas 1 and 2 that it 'vas the recommendation of both departments that such boundary line be established as the center lime of Levee L-39 which will be built on the southerly bank of the Hillsboro Canal. It was noted that although as the agreements now exist the boundary line is the center line of the Hillsboro Canal-, on page 43 of House Document No. 643, this levee is re@'erred to as the dividing boundary line of Conservation Areas 1 and 2.
Upon motion of Commissioner Daniel) seconded by Commissioner Hardy and unanimously carried, the Board approved the recommendation of the Legal and Engineering Departments and authorized and directed the Chairman and Secretary to execute on behalf of the Board and District, such amendatory agreements with the Fish and Wildlife Service and the Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission as may be required to amend the existing agreements with said agencies with respect to the establishment of the common boundary line of Conservation Areas 2 and 3."
which is of record on page 12, Volume II of the Minutes of the Governing Board aforesaid.
I FURTHER CERTIFY that the foregoing has not been revoked., modified or changed in any way and is at the date of this certificate in full force and effect.
