| Draft Version 10-06 | am - 102003
> the top image does not show > there needs to be some more cell padding, the text between cells runs too close, need some margin space, > replace "read article" in recent news section with "newspaper name and date" > lower the font on the calendar item head lines > move my contact info down a bit
|
102003 vs- I've taken care of all of the other issues save for the top image issue. Mark, since you know how it is coded, it might be better if you handled that issue. |

> please make sure the link opens to a new window, please copy the instructions from my email here, please add the filename to the link in the file date column |
vincent - 101503 - added news and events, changed header images, resized mission statement. |
| Draft Version 10-06 | Add image rotation code and calendar to new page | mark - 100603 - Images rotate from 1-10 in order. Right now if you change the directories of the pictures or the file this may not work. If these are changed, simple editing of the code to the proper directories is all that needs to be done. The new calendar was also added. -mk |
| Draft Version 10-05 | vincent - 100503 - I reworked the index page; this one fits in the set margins in the browser... don't know what was causing the stretching in the other versions but it doesn't seem to be a problem here. | |
| Index Image List for Alternating Image Testing Vincent V | vincent - 100503 - this links to an index page that hosts all 10 images chosen for alternating index coding; images and list are all in index images folder in my assignments folder. | |

| Welcome to the UM Law Library Everglades Litigation Collection | you need to align the new right menu tab with the right, though. see if you can work with the cell padding so that there is a bit of a margin within the cells, make the calendar smaller, add fake listings to the right of the space you create when you make the calendar smaller, re the top and side margins, usually you need to do it manually within the index page, move the margins manually, it is hard to do, see what you can manage, | vincent - 100303 - fixed draft according to e-mailed instructions. |

Welcome to the UM Law Library Everglades Litigation Collection |
1. you have enough space to increase
the target frame to the right, align to the end of database on top menu;
2. add a graphic under news, so that it balances the 2 graphics under legisation, and conferences, meetings. 3. the left border of the target frame should align with about site on top menu, so you need to make the logo smaller, I had discussed this in my original instructions. 4. would it be possible to move up the target frame and the side frame to remove some of the extra space at top between them and the top frame? 5. I don't mind a little scrolling down, see where you can fit a small calendar near the bottom, we also need some of the contact info that is on the home page, lay it out, you can leave room for some text if you need it for the lay out; 6. please add the picture links to the drafts page. |
100103 vs- posted new draft. |

| 092303 prototype | 092303 I created a draft home page to give you a rough idea what I was thinking of. The margins are all out of wack, etc. Fix the obvious issues. Try to fit the contents within the smaller target space. Gather a collection of images for the top section, I think you worked on this before. We may need to re-work the upper left logo to fit within the margins of the left side bar. Anyway, the file is linked from the home page, current under site design. The file in frontpage is under the root, draft092303. |
092703 Let's do this first before we get too creative. This is more of an interim solution. 1. create a copy of 092303 prototype. 2. I need to visualize this within the context of the frames, not just the target, they all have to fit in. 3. Follow the instructions from 092303. 4. You had some photos that fit these dimensions, locate them and let me know where they are. |
