UPrint Information for Law Students

Law students will receive 120 credits per academic year for use on the UPrint printers located in the Law School and throughout campus.

One UPrint credit = $1.00

$.05 for black & white per print/copy page

$0.10 for color per print/copy page

Students can conveniently check their "UPrint Credit" balance by logging into MyUM. Should students exceed their "UPrint Credits", they can add money to their Cane Express accounts on MyUM.

In the event UPrint goes down for an extended period of time, the Law School will bring up the backup print solution for law students only. Law students will need to download these drivers to their laptops. Please go to the Law IT Service Desk located in C118 of the Law Library.

Implementation of UPrint is expected to reduce waste of paper and consumables by 30%. This statement is supported by experiences at other universities with similar print management programs. The program was deployed on the Coral Gables campus in fall 2008.
