Small Classrooms (less than 40 seats)

    • This small room is used as a classroom and as a conference room and holds 24 people. The room contains technology including an electric screen, ceiling mounted data projector, DVD & VCR, speakers, laptop connectivity, and an Extron control pad.

 

  • F200
    • This computer classroom holds 36 people. At each of the student’s desk there is a computer. Audio speakers are located throughout the classroom and are connected to the wireless microphone system and to the two 50” plasma monitors that fold down from the ceiling. These monitors display images from the networked computer, the interactive display monitor, the DVD player, the VCR player, and the document camera all of which are located either inside the multimedia podium or the multimedia cabinet located at the side of the room. A laptop can be connected to the system via a connection at the podium. A Creston touchpanel is located at the podium and gives the instructor a one-touch control for selecting the equipment to project to the screens. Support for the technology in the room can be obtained via the phone located inside the room. This phone dials directly to the IT Service Desk.
    • Instructors may connect to their network account and access their files by logging into the podium computer. Also installed on the computer are two types of software used in the room.  SynchronEyes is installed at the podium computer and on each of the student computers. This software gives the instructor the ability to view all of the students’ computer screens, broadcast one student’s computer screen or broadcast the instructor’s computer screen onto a student’s workstation. This software also gives the students the ability to submit their questions to the instructor’s computer.  StarBoard is the software used with the interactive display located at the podium. Instructors have the ability to draw or write on the computer screen and have these markings displayed on the plasma monitors for the students to see.

 

  • A216a
    • This room used for Litigation Skills classes and meetings and holds 12 people. The room contains new technology including an electric screen, ceiling mounted data projector, DVD & VCR, speakers, laptop connectivity, and an Extron control pad.

 

  • A216b
    • This classroom holds 27 people and contains an overhead projector and a projection screen. A TV with a VCR/DVD combo player is located on a cart within the room.

 

  • F300
    • This classroom room holds 28 people. The room contains new technology including an electric screen, ceiling mounted data projector, DVD & VCR, speakers, laptop connectivity, and an Extron control pad. 

 

  • F302
    • This classroom room holds 28 people. The room contains new technology including an electric screen, ceiling mounted data projector, DVD & VCR, speakers, laptop connectivity, and an Extron control pad. Audio speakers are located in the front of the classroom and are connected to the wireless microphone system.

 

  • G363
    • This classroom located inside the Law Library holds 24 people. It contains an overhead projector and a projection screen. A TV with a VCR/DVD combo player is located on a cart within the room.

Medium Classrooms (41 – 99 seats)
  • F108
    • This tiered classroom holds 82 people. Audio speakers are located throughout the classroom and are connected to the multimedia podium and the wireless microphone system. The podium contains a networked computer, a VCR player, a DVD player and a document camera. Images are displayed onto the projection screen by the ceiling mounted data projectors. Instructors may also connect their laptop computers to the system via a laptop connection located at the podium.  A Creston touchpanel is located at the podium and gives the instructor a one-touch control for selecting the equipment to project to the screen. Instructors may connect to their network account and access their files by logging into the podium computer. Instructors may also connect their laptop computers to the system via a laptop connection located at the podium. An overhead projector is also located within the room.

Upon request, this camera is used to record the class through the Echo360 enhanced podcast recorder.  These files are on-line and available 24/7 to students with access to the internet and Internet Explorer plus Windows Media Player.

 

  • A110
    • This classroom holds 78 students. Audio speakers are located throughout the classroom and are connected to the wireless microphone system and the multimedia podium. This podium contains a networked computer, a VCR player, a DVD player and a document camera. Images from this equipment are displayed onto the projection screen by the ceiling mounted data projector. Instructors may also connect their laptop computers to the system via a connection located at the podium. A Creston touchpanel is located at the podium and gives the instructor a one-touch control for selecting the equipment in the podium to project to the screen. Instructors may connect to their network account and access their files by logging into the podium computer. Large Classrooms (over 100 seats)

    • This tiered classroom holds 110 students. Audio speakers are located throughout the classroom and are connected to the wireless microphone system and the multimedia podium.     • This tiered classroom holds 137 students. Audio speakers are located throughout the classroom and are connected to the wireless microphone system and the multimedia podium. This podium contains a networked computer, a VCR player, a DVD player and a document camera. Images from this equipment are displayed onto the projection screen by the ceiling mounted data projector. A Creston touchpanel is located at the podium and give the instructor a one-touch control for selecting the equipment in the podium and to project to the screen. Located at the back of the room is a fixed camera that is connected to the multimedia system in the podium. Upon request, this camera is used to record the class through the DVD recorder or the VHS recorder.
    • Instructors may connect to their network account and access their files by logging into the podium computer. Instructors may also connect their laptop computer to the system via a laptop connection located at the podium. Support for the technology in the room can be obtained via the phone located inside the room. This phone dials directly to the IT Service Desk.
  • E352
    • This room is currently used as the Moot Court classroom. It is set up with classroom seating, a judge’s bench and jury seating. This classroom holds 161 students. Audio speakers are located throughout the classroom and are connected to the wireless microphone system. Located in a wall rack are a VCR player and a DVD player. A document camera and networked computer are also included in the classroom. Images from this equipment are displayed onto the projection screen by the ceiling mounted data projector.
    • Instructors may connect to their network account and access their files by logging into the faculty computer. Instructors may also connect their laptop computer to the system via a laptop connection located at the judge’s bench. An overhead projector is also located within the room. Support for the technology in the room can be obtained via the phone located inside the room. This phone dials directly to the IT Service Desk.

Technology in the Faculty Conference Room
This room is also used as a large conference room, an event room, and a seminar room. Audio speakers are located throughout this room and are connected to the wireless microphone system, the multimedia cabinet and the podium. There is a networked computer, a VCR player, a DVD player and a document camera. A Creston touchpanel is located at the podium and give the instructor a one-touch control for selecting the equipment in the podium and to project to the screen. One data projector for two projection screens connected to the multimedia system is installed to accommodate the various setups required for this room.

Instructors may connect to their network account and access their files by logging into the podium computer. Instructors may also connect their laptop to the system via a laptop connection located at the podium.


Technology in the Student Lounge
This newly renovated room is used primarily as a lounge for the students but also serves as an event room. Audio speakers are located throughout this room and are connected to the wireless microphone system and the multimedia system located inside one of the wooden cabinets. Also connected to the system are a DVD/VCR combo player, a CD player and a 60” wall mounted plasma TV. A connection for a laptop computer is located on the surface of the wooden cabinet and is connected to the plasma TV.
