After the huge success of the 2013 course, the Office of International Graduate Law Programs will host a one week intensive non-credit course for lawyers and law students in 2014. The course is intended for students and attorneys who are generally interested in international business transactions and want an overview of the most frequent methods for resolving contractual disputes. The course will be taught by world-renown University of Miami School of Law faculty. [1]

Includes 17 classroom hours.

The IGLP Office will also be hosting an Opening Reception and possible visits to a Law Firm and the Federal Court House in Miami. Details to Follow.

Faculty

Some of our professors will include:

Jan Paulsson

World-renowned international arbitration expert Professor Paulsson holds the Michael Klein Distinguished Scholar Chair at Miami Law and is the Chair of the Specialization in International Arbitration.

Professor Keith S. Rosenn

Professor of Law and Chair of the Specializations in U.S. and Transnational Law for Foreign Lawyers and Inter-American Law.

Professor Claudio Finkelstein

Arbitrator and Professor of Law in the Graduate and Post-Graduate program at PUC/SP.

Francisco González De Cossío

Author, professor, arbitrator, advocate and expert in complex arbitration cases, he is one of the most active arbitrators in Latin America.

Certificate

Students will receive a Certificate of Attendance upon completion of the course.
