Jeanette Smith, an attorney, anthropologist, and staff director for the South Florida Interfaith Worker Justice Committee, which is located in Little Havana is looking for an intern to work on the campaign to amend the Miami-Dade Human Rights Ordinance as well as assist the National Farmworker Ministry/Florida Farmworker Association with wage and other claims arising among immigrant workers in South Dade. Spanish or Creole language skills preferred but not required. Interested students should send a letter and resume to Jeanette Smith at jeanettemiami@gmail.com.
