Joy is a Staff Attorney in the Health Access Project (HAP) at the Children's Law Center which is the largest civil legal services provider in Washington, D.C.  HAP partners with Children's National Medical Center to tackle the non-medical barriers that prevent at-risk D.C. children from living healthy and happy lives.  Joy takes referrals from doctors who have recognized unmet legal needs of their patients.  Her practice involves special education law, housing law, family law and public benefits.
