When does registration open?

Registration opens August 1st, 2013. If you would like your name to be included in the Conference Guide & Registration List, you must register by Friday, November 1, 2013.

 

How do I register for the 48th Annual Institute?

Registration opens on August 1st, 2013. You may Register Online (instant confirmation) or you may print the Institute Registration Form and mail or fax the completed form to the Heckerling Institute (allow up to two weeks for confirmation letter). The Institute does not accept registrations by phone.

 

How much is the registration fee?

Registration fee is $1,020.

 

What does the registration fee include?

Access to 5 days of educational programming: Monday – Friday

Registrants receive Institute materials in Print (approximately 7 books), CD-ROM, or USB Flash Drive.

 

Additionally, registrants will have complimentary onsite access to the conference materials on their iPad or Android tablets. Access will be available Monday – Friday of Institute week. (Registrants are required to enter their e-mail address on the Institute Registration Form.)

 

Daily Continental Breakfast: 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. in the Exhibit Hall

 

Monday Evening Reception: 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall

 

Evening Transportation: Complimentary evening shuttle service to selected local dining and entertainment areas.

 

What are the options for Institute Materials?

The Institute materials are available in Print, CD-ROM or USB Flash Drive. Registrants will have complimentary onsite access to the conference materials on their iPad or Android tablets. Access will be available Monday – Friday of Institute week. (Registrants are required to enter their e-mail address on the Institute Registration Form.)

 

Additional Materials: You may purchase an additional CD-ROM, USB or Print Materials for $250.

 

How will "Onsite Access to Institute Materials" work?

Complimentary onsite access to Institute Materials is designed for registrants that prefer to use their iPad or Android tablet during the lectures. Access instructions will be distributed at the Institute Registration desk when you pick up your badge and materials. Access to the Institute materials will only be available onsite, Monday – Friday of Institute week. (Registrants are required to enter their e-mail address on the Institute Registration Form.) Conference materials are copyrighted and cannot be duplicated, reused or shared.

Will you offer complimentary evening shuttle service to Downtown Disney and Universal City Walk again this year?

Yes, free shuttle service will be available again this year Monday – Thursday evenings.

Can I register onsite?

Registration is available onsite at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort & Convention Center beginning on Sunday, January 12th from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. and continues again on Monday, January 13th at 7:00 a.m. Registrations will be accepted at the door on a space available basis.

 

When is the registration cut-off date?

There is no cut-off date for registration. However, if you would like your name in the Conference Guide & Registration List you must register by Friday, November 1, 2013.

 

How do I confirm my registration?

Online registrations receive a confirmation e-mail immediately.

 

You will receive a registration confirmation letter approximately two weeks after we receive your registration if you mail or fax you registration form to the Institute.

 

What is the cancellation / refund policy?/

Registration fees are refundable (less a $100 administrative fee) if written notice is received no later than 12 Noon EST, Friday, December 20, 2013. Refunds will not be issued after that date. Guest program fees are not refundable. CREDIT CARD REFUNDS ARE PROCESSED WITHIN TWO WEEKS. REFUND CHECKS TAKE SIX TO EIGHT WEEKS.

How much is a taxi/shuttle from the airport?

From Orlando International to the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort Taxi: typical rate $45 one-way

Will I be able to watch the General Sessions in my room?

Yes, you will be able to view the General Sessions at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort.

 

Will I be able to ship my materials from the Orlando World Center again this year?

Yes, FedEx will be onsite again this year on Thursday and Friday. The price will be announced at a later date.

 

Can I get a list of Institute attendees ahead of time?

A list of registrants will be published in the Conference Guide and Registration List and will be made available onsite.

 

When and where is next year's Institute?

The 49th Annual Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning will be held January 12 – 16, 2015 at the Orlando World Center Marriott.
