When does registration open?
Registration is now open!  If you would like your name to be included in the Conference Guide & Registration List, you must register before Friday, November 13, 2009. 


How do I register for the 44th Annual Institute?
Registration opens on August 1, 2009.  You may register online in August or you may print the Institute Registration Form and mail or fax the completed form to the Heckerling Institute.  The Institute does not accept registrations by phone.


How can I obtain an Institute registration form?
The registration form is located on the Institute website.


How much is the registration fee?
Registration fee is $930.


What does the registration fee include?
Access to 5 days of educational programming: Monday – Friday
Institute Materials:  Printed, CD-ROM or USB Flash Drive
Additional Materials: You may purchase an additional CD-ROM or USB Flash Drive for $225.00.  Check this option on the registration form.
Daily Continental Breakfast: 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. in the Exhibit Hall
Monday Night Reception: 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall
Evening Transportation: Complimentary evening shuttle service to selected local dining and entertainment areas.

Does the Institute plan to offer shuttle service to Downtown Disney and Universal City Walk?
Yes, Monday – Thursday evenings we will provide shuttle service until Midnight.


Can I register on-site?
Registration is available on-site at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort & Convention Center beginning on Sunday, January 24th at 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Registrations will be accepted at the door on a space available basis.


When is the registration cut-off date?
There is no cut-off date for registration. However, if you would like your name in the Conference Guide & Registrant List you must register by Friday, November 13, 2009.


How do I confirm my registration?
Online registrations receive a confirmation email immediately.

You will receive a registration confirmation letter approximately two weeks after we receive your registration if you mail or fax you registration form to the Institute.


What is the cancellation / refund policy?

Registration fees are refundable (less a $75 administrative fee) if written notice is received by January 8, 2010. Persons that registered Online must complete the Online Registration Cancellation Form.  Refunds will not be issued after that date.  All requests for a full refund after the cancellation date must be made in writing.  Exceptions to this policy are up to the discretion of the Institute director and will be reviewed and processed AFTER the conference.  CREDIT CARD REFUNDS ARE PROCESSED WITHIN TWO WEEKS.  REFUND CHECKS TAKE SIX TO EIGHT WEEKS.  Guest program fees are not refundable.

Will I be able to watch the General Sessions in my room at the Orlando World Center Marriott?
Yes.  


Will I be able to ship my materials from the hotel?
Yes, we will have FedEx onsite; the price will be announced at a later date.


Can I get a list of Institute attendees?
A list of registrants will be published in the Conference Guide and Registration List and will be made available to attendees on site.

 

When and where is next year’s Institute?
The 2011 Institute will be held January 10 – 14, 2011 at the Orlando World Center Marriott.
