The Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning is the nation's leading conference for estate planners. Continuing legal education credit will be applied for in every state that has mandatory continuing legal education requirements and have been routinely granted. Continuing education will also be available for other estate planning professionals, including accountants, financial planners, IRS enrolled agents, banking and insurance professionals. We urge you to contact our office in advance with questions regarding the availability of credit for a specific jurisdiction or profession, as we cannot guarantee that credit will be available in all cases.

Continuing Legal Education for Attorneys (CLE)

 

Continuing legal education credit will be applied for in every state that has mandatory continuing legal education requirements and have been routinely granted.

 

Total Course Hours
33.5 Hours   50-minute hours
28.0 Hours   60-minute hours

 

Please be aware that every state has its own rules and regulations regarding accreditation. All credits, including ethics credits, will be awarded based on sessions actually attended and reported on the Proof of Attendance form.

Continuing Professional Education for Accountants (CPE)

 

The University of Miami School of Law is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: learningmarket.org.

 

Amount of Recommended CPE credit: 33.5 hours

 


 

Continuing Education for Insurance Professionals (CE)

 

Continuing education credit will be applied for in the following states:
