Regardless of receiving a scholarship in their first year, students will be considered for awards as rising second and third-year students, by completing the continuing students' scholarship process.
Students who have financial need (as determined by the FAFSA), dedication to Public Interest, high academic accomplishments, and demonstrated leadership in law school will be considered for a new or additional scholarship by completing a single Scholarship Application.
Scholarship funding will be divided into three categories:

The scholarship(s) are one-time award amounts and are based on the availability of funds. Thus, they are not fixed each year, nor are they automatically renewable. All scholarships are intended for full-time enrollment at the university during the Fall and Spring semesters. Reduction in course load may result in reductions or cancellation of awarded scholarships. During the final semester of enrollment, scholarships may be pro-rated if a student's course load is less than full-time. There is NO exception to this policy. Students will be notified when the application becomes available.
The School of Law is fortunate to have alumni and friends who contribute funds to assist continuing students with their law school tuition. Donor scholarships vary in the amount awarded and are for the fall and spring semesters of the J.D. program only. They target outstanding enrolled students pursuant to guidelines set forth by the donors. For some awards, personal interviews, applications, or need analysis reports may be required. There are also some donor scholarship funds available to LL.M. students, which are awarded separately at the time of admission to an LL.M. program.
Second and third year students must complete a Continuing Student Scholarship application. Notification will be sent upon completion of the Continuing Student Scholarship process.
